ACCA CPD event - Fraud

Event: ACCA CPD event - Fraud

At the best of times, any business, regardless of size or type, in any country, can fall victim to fraudsters. As was expected, though, we now know that the recession has led to a significant increase in fraud as well as other types of financial crime. This trend is expected to continue for some time after the recession is officially over, meaning that strategies to monitor and deal with fraudulent activity must remain a heightened priority for accountants, risk managers and external auditors, among others.

This lunchtime lecture will look at the nature of fraud and the different ways in which businesses may be affected. It will also review the main international regulatory measures which businesses should currently be aware of in the context of establishing a rigorous anti-fraud environment.

Numbers are limited for this event and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To reserve a place please email joanne.currie@accaglobal.com
